Our Fee Structure

Fees and Charges.

We have a fair and suitable fee structure to cater for our clients in all areas, which is explained before instructions are confirmed. Our fees are based on the type of work, forum, complexity, number of hours, professionals involved, and location. They are categorized for retainer and non-retainer clients as follows.
Retainer Fee

Charged at the rate and period agreed between the firm and the client and paid quarterly, biannually, or annually in advance. It covers all services provided to the client except litigation, for which the parties may negotiate a reduced fee.

Contentious Matter - Litigation

These are matters filed on behalf of, or against, a client in a court or tribunal. Fees are charged according to the applicable forum, including the District Court, Commission for Mediation and Arbitration, District Land and Housing Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal, Fair Competition Commission, and other commissions established by law.

Contentious Matters - Alternative Dispute Resolution

This includes mediations and arbitrations handled by a dedicated team. Fees are variable between the parties and depend on the forum chosen and the procedures involved in commercial and construction ADR matters.

Non-Contentious Matter

These services may include document review, drafting warning letters, contract consultancy and attestation, conveyancing, and other services. Fees differ according to the service and work involved.

Please Note
  • A numerical breakdown of all specified fees is available upon request.
  • Fees not listed are determined under the Advocates Remuneration Rules and/or through negotiation with the client.
  • Fees may include other charges, such as transport and stationery expenses, subject to negotiation with the client.
